Mosaic Fractional Laser

Q&A On its Features and Benefits

Offers Patients Full-Body Solution
To Restore Aging and Sun Damaged Skin

Mosaic Fractional Laser

The Mosaic Fractional laser is the first technology that can produce dramatic improvements to aging and sun-damaged skin in a speedy healing process, with almost no downtime. The results we're able to achieve in healing and repairing the skin with the Mosaic, without causing damage, are unlike anything you probably seen before. The results are elimination of unwanted pigment and blemishes, improvement in texture, fine lines as well as deep lines, and even skin tightening and improvement of scars.

Turning Back The Clock
After your very first Mosaic Fractional Laser Treatment, you will begin to feel the difference in your skin, as it gradually becomes softer, smoother and fresher. Fine lines around your eyes will noticeably fade. So will uneven coloring and the brown spots caused by aging and sun exposure.

After several treatments, your friends and family will marvel at how youthful and healthy your skin looks. The results are so discreet and natural that only you and your doctor will know you've had a laser surgical procedure.

How does The Mosaic work?

The innovative Mosaic Laser is specially designed to alter only fractional volumes of the target tissue. Similar to precise alteration of photographs and paintings, the clinical effect of this treatment technique is to alter the appearance of aging and sun-damaged skin. The creation of tiny microscopic wounds results in a wound healing process and a response to the coagulation of collagen fibers.

With minimal downtime and side effects, the MOSAIC is among the safest and most reliable resurfacing laser system available.

Q&A On its Features and Benefits

What is Mosaic® – Fractional Laser?

A new laser treatment that repairs sun damage, combats the effects of time, and rejuvenates the skin to produce soft, smooth, incredible results.

What makes Mosaic® different from other laser treatments?

Mosaic® Laser Treatment improves your appearance by affecting only a fraction of your skin at a time. Mosaic® produces thousands of tiny treatment zones on the skin, known as Micro Thermo Zones (MTZs). These MTZs penetrate deep into the dermis and eliminate old epidermal pigmented cells. The Mosaic® Laser targets only the damaged area, while leaving the surrounded tissue unaffected and intact. This "fractional" treatment allows the skin to heal much faster than if the entire area were treated at once, using the body's natural healing process to create new, healthy tissue to replace skin imperfections.

What does Fraxel Laser Treatment entail?

Before starting the treatment, you and our Doctor will discuss which area(s) of your skin is appropriate for treatment and how many treatments you will need. The most effective regime is three to five sessions, spaced about four to seven days apart. Mosaic Laser Treatment can be performed right in the treatment room using only topical anesthesia in most cases.

What happens after treatment?

You will experience a mild sunburn sensation for about an hour and then virtually no discomfort. The skin will have a pinkish tone for five to seven days. This is a normal sign that the skin is healing deeply, that dermal tissue is being repaired, and there is good blood circulation. Swelling is minimal and generally resolves in two to three days. New epidermal skin develops immediately, within 24 hours.

This process of skin repair includes:

  • Bronzing: The skin will have a bronze appearance that lasts from three to fourteen days.
  • Flaking: Your skin will naturally exfoliate as the new skin replaces the dead tissue. Moisturizer will mask the appearance of flaking.
  • Sunscreen: Apply a 30-plus sunscreen twice daily to protect your skin from sun exposure.

How long is the recovery period after treatment?

Typically patients find they can go back to work soon after the treatment or the next day. Please call Enhanze Medical Aesthetic Clinic for more information or to schedule a consultation.
